Day 1 – Saturday
|AMMAN – DEAD SEA Arrival at Amman International Airport. Welcome and transfer to the Jordanian side of the Dead Sea.
Day 2 – SundayBreakfast
JERASH After breakfast, begin your panoramic city tour of Amman; wander among original temples, theatres and plazas all enclosed within the city’s walls. Then proceed to the ancient city of Jerash, the most complete and well-preserved city of the Roman Empire.
Day 3 – MondayBreakfast
MOUNT NEBO, MADABA, KERAK – PETRA After breakfast, drive southwards along the Kings’ Highway to Petra visiting Madaba, Mount Nebo and the alleged burial site of Moses, then driving through the magnificent scenery of Wadi Mujib to Kerak to visit the Crusader’s Castle. Continue to Petra and check-in.
Day 4 – TuesdayBreakfast
WADI RUM & PETRA Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then take a ride in a 4x4 vehicle to the Wadi Rum Desert with its moon-like landscape and where the film Lawrence of Arabia was shot. In the afternoon, discover the many sites of Petra, the city carved into the rose-red Sharah Mountains. Walk to the treasury site and return by carriage to the city center.
Day 5 – WednesdayBreakfast / Dinner
PETRA – EILAT – JERUSALEM Following breakfast, drive to the Arava border crossing into Israel. Upon arrival, welcome and transfer to the Eilat airport for your flight to Tel Aviv. Arrival in Tel Aviv and transfer to your hotel in Jerusalem, the holiest city in the world. Dinner at your hotel.
Day 6 – ThursdayBreakfast / Dinner
JERUSALEM: OLD CITY After breakfast, begin your day with a magnificent panoramic view from Mount of Olives. Visit the Church of All Nations, the Tomb of King David and the room of the Last Supper on Mount Zion. Visit the Roman Cardo and the Temple Mount, continue to the Western Wall; walk along Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
Day 7 – FridayBreakfast / Dinner
JERUSALEM: NEW CITY & BETHLEHEM* After breakfast, drive to Ein Kerem then proceed to the Yad Vashem Memorial to the Holocaust. Visit the Israel Museum, the Shrine of the Book and the miniature model of Jerusalem as it stood during the second temple period. Continue to Bethlehem*, to visit the Church of the Nativity. Dinner at your hotel.
Day 8 – SaturdayBreakfast / Dinner
DEAD SEA – MASADA Enjoy Drive through the Judean Desert towards the Dead Sea, almost 1,300 feet below sea level. Stop at Qumran to visit the site where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Drive along the shores of the Dead Sea to Masada. Ascend by cable-car and tour the ancient fortress then descend by cablecar. Continue to the Dead Sea; cover yourself in mineral-rich mud and experience a unique swim, time permitting, then return to Jerusalem for dinner.
Day 9 – SundayBreakfast / Dinner
BEIT SHE'AN – NAZARETH – TIBERIAS After breakfast, drive via the Jordan Valley to Beit She’an, a newly excavated city, and visit the Roman Theatre. Drive to Yardenit, the baptismal site on the Jordan River and continue to Nazareth via Cana of Galilee. Dinner and overnight at kibbutz.
Day 10 – MondayBreakfast / Dinner
TIBERIAS – CAPERNAUM – BANIAS After breakfast, take a short tour of Tiberias followed by a boat to Capernum to the remains of the 2nd-century synagogue. Proceed to Tabgha and visit the Church of Multiplication. Continue to Mount of the Beatitudes then drive to Banias Spring, tour the Golan Heights.
Day 11 – TuesdayBreakfast / Dinner
ACRE – HAIFA – MEGIDDO – CAESAREA – TEL AVIV After breakfast, visit the ancient city and harbour of Acre; continue to Haifa to view the Bahai Gardens and Shrine. Drive to Megiddo, to visit the archaeological excavations; then to Caesarea, capital of Judea under the Romans. Drive along the coastal plain to Tel Aviv, dinner at hotel.
Day 12 – WednesdayBreakfast
TEL AVIV – HOME After breakfast, transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for your departure home.
